In the recent few months, Instagram has added a whole plethora of new updates to the application that have not gone down well with Instagram users.

From the recommended posts appearing on your feed to the new design and automatically slack mode, Meta is baffling a lot of people around the world who aren’t excited about the changes.

Currently, users are confused as the camera button, which you use for the most part to take photos and post to your Instagram Story, has disappeared.

Instagram story camera missing

On Tuesday (June 28), Twitter drowned in reports that Story Camera isn’t working as expected for the iOS client.

Typically, to snap a picture and transfer it directly to your Instagram Story, you tap on ‘Story’ and your Camera Roll will appear.

In the top left corner of the network, there’s usually a camera option that allows you to take another photo and transfer it to your story if you don’t want to choose one from your exhibit.

However, many people have noticed that with the latest update, it seems that the option has disappeared, important persons cannot access the Story camera by any stretch of the imagination.

Step-by-step instructions to FIND THE CAMERA

  1. Open Instagram and tap the house image in the base bar.
  2. Now tap the + button above the storey bubble.
  3. Press ‘Post’.
  4. At the bottom of the screen, you will see four options, press ‘Story’.
  5. Currently, the camera should be up.
